This month I've really changed up my skincare routines and have found some firm favourites. Ever since my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish ran out, the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel (£28) has taken centre stage. I love its gentle turkish delight scent, and it really helps to brighten dull skin when you haven't had much sleep. I've never been an avid serum user, and this next product had been collecting dust for way too long. When I tried the L(A)B Activator Serum* (£20) (review) again one day, I was amazed at how much it hydrated and plumped up my skin, whilst still being super lightweight.
Maybe not a true skincare product, but I'm lumbering it in this category anyway, I've been loving the Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Oil Control Fixing Spray. Duping the likes of more expensive fixing sprays such as those from Urban Decay, this does the job just as well, and for only £5. Makeup Revolution is never normally one to wow on the packaging front, but you can't deny that the rose gold touches are gorgeous.
Benefit Roller Lash (£19.50 full size) (review) has been back in my life and I am really enjoying the flirty effect that it gives my lashes. Opting for a minimal makeup look day-to-day, I don't reach for my volumising mascaras as much as I used to, but this is a great compromise. It gives great length and holds a curl well, and never looks too OTT.
These next three products come as no surprise, seeing as they have all featured in my This Week I'm Obsessed With... series. First up we have the Collection Gorgeous Glow Blush Block (£4.19) (review), a beautiful blush-highlight hybrid with brightening peachy-gold tones. It is definitely a summer must-have.
Also from Collection is their Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer (£4.99) (review). A proper underdog in the concealer world, this provides the perfect mix of brightness and coverage. Rimmel have done it good with their most recent Kate Moss collaboration. A series of nude lipsticks, shade 45 (£5.49) (review) does everything I want it to and more. A beautiful pinky nude that leaves concealer lips out of the question.
I am overjoyed that I have finally found a facial SPF that works for me. The Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Matte SPF (review) was a product I received in my beauty box swap with Aria from All Souled Out, and it is perfection. Lightweight with a high SPF, my skin can be protected from both UVA and UVB rays without turning into a sticky mess. Sadly it is only available in India.
Something equally as awesome and available in the UK, if in a different category, is Let's Spritz! (£8) (review). This is a body mist from Zoella's second beauty range Tutti Fruity. A lovely light berry scent, it is super pretty and very wearable for the day time. Last but not least (and not pictured) is the Tea Tree & Peppermint Deep Moisturising Foot Mask (£1.96). Whilst they may be a tad gimmicky, these pre-soaked socks leave you feet feeling cooled, soothed and soft. They are such a must-have for after a night out or long day shopping in uncomfortable shoes.
