YesStyle Korean Fashion Wishlist

9 August 2015

YesStyle is an Asian online retailer that ships fashion and beauty picks (amongst others) to the UK. Whilst I initially clicked on to stock up on my favourite Etude House sheet masks (hands down the best hangover cure), I got sidetracked by a rather cute whale shirt and from then on I was hooked on their style pages. It's not all cutesy cute Hello Kitty-embossed merch (although HK is awesome), rather a lovely selection of easy to wear styles with some beautiful silhouettes.

The prices are particularly affordable, similar to BooHoo or Missguided and shipping is free to the UK if you spend over £25, which really isn't difficult. The site isn't the most high-tech at first glance, yet click through to any of their clothing item pages and they have gorgeous, fashion blog-style images which really give a great view of the products before buying.

There's a piece for every occasion - slouchy sweats for cosy days, dressier items for work or a classy event, but most of the clothing is casual with a twist, which is what I like for an everyday look. There is something about the styles that set them apart from most fashion available in the UK. Whether it is the attention to detail - embroidering, necklines, silhouettes, there is always something a little bit unique about the pieces.

This is definitely an item I would turn to in the autumn when the weather is beginning to get a little cooler. It is cute without being too cute, and looks perfect to snuggle up in. I'd wear with jeans, long brown boots, and perhaps a felt fedora.

This shirt has such a lovely silhouette, and I love the collarless style and cut-out lace detailing. I'd be wearing this on a lazy summer day, tucked into a pair of shorts with tan leather sandals.

This bright cobalt midi dress is such a classic shape with its flattering tie-waist detailing. This is the perfect summer update to work wear, or pair it with some skinny strap heels for a classy cocktail evening out. This used to be one of my favourite shades of blue, and it needs to be back in my wardrobe pronto.

I've always been such a sucker for tulle, and just look how beautiful this is!It is just so romantic and gorgeous, and the midi length is really flattering too. Day-to-day, I wouldn't really have an occasion to wear this, but it would make a really lovely wedding outfit pared with a great pair of heels.

It seemed wrong to write a post on Korean fashion without including something unbelievably cute. Whilst there was oodles of choice, I eventually settled on these teddy bear sweatpants. No they won't be featuring in an Outfit of the Day, or even seen outside the house (bar on Instagram), but you can't deny that they aren't adorable. I know they'd be my cosy winter go-tos, and could even replace my trusty red/white knitted aztec leggings!

Talking of winter, YesStyle already have loads of gorgeous sweaters on the website, so I know when autumn rolls around I'll be checking back and placing an order. Because who doesn't love a cosy sweater or two?
