This weekend I toddled into town in desperate need of some clothes for the new season. I'd been lusting after some Topshop black ripped jeans for ages, so understandably I was devastated when they didn't have my size. However I found these zipped babies for £40. They're very similar to a pair Zara are currently stocking, which got featured in a recent Lily Pebbles video. These fortunately, are 100 times more flattering than the Zara ones which quite frankly made my arse look huge...
I also got these pretty triangular stud earrings, for a bargain £2.49 in the sale. Day = made! Continuing with my clothing purchases, I picked up this simple white sweater from H&M. A bargain at £14.99, I cannot wait to wear this slouchy number. Annoyingly though, the sales assistants left the security tag on, so I'll have to pop back to get them to take it off! My final H&M purchase was this cream lace dress. I almost didn't try this on, but I'm glad I did as it's the most flattering shape. It fit perfectly and was only £24.99. I'll be wearing this for an afternoon tea date for my birthday in a few weeks.
Now onto beauty. It wasn't a huge beauty haul like normal, but I picked up two items I had been lusting after for ages. The Mary-Lou Manizer is my first thebalm item, and it has rather a cult following. It is a gorgeous golden highlight, which leaves an amazing glow when lightly dusted onto the cheekbones. It was £16 but most likely it'll last forever!
Finally I got the MUA Undress Me Too palette. I own the Undressed palette, which I'm a huge fan of. I think these are great for trying out the Urban Decay Naked shades, without committing to £38 a palette. It has to be said though, that the quality of the Urban Decay shadows is far superior, and I was very nearly tempted. These are also great if you own the UD palettes, but want a cheaper travel option that isn't a problem if it breaks en route.
