Bloggers of the Month | Interview with Damzel in this Dress

28 October 2015

Throughout the month of October, Rosie from Damzel in this Dress has graced my sidebar. I was first attracted to Damzel in this Dress because of the adorable header design. Not only that, but Rosie's photography is lovely, and she posts about a great mix of topics, and has a really relatable writing style. I particularly loved Rosie's post on taking driving lessons when you have anxiety. I asked Rosie 5 questions so we can get to know her blog that little bit better:

I like to think of my blog being an extension of myself so my posts are pretty much inspired by the things I'm loving in my life at the moment.

I started blogging initially to rant anonymously about fashion faux pas (lol!) but it's kind of hard to remain anonymous with sass like this *hair flick*. Interesting fact though, according to MOZ I bought my blog URL 6 years ago and I've only been properly blogging for two years. I had no idea what the URL would be for but I knew I just had to buy it. Isn't it weird how things just fall in to place and are meant to be?

It's one of my very early posts on which eyebrow shapes suit your face shape best.

Usually in the dead of the night, when everyone I know is asleep and I know I've got work the next day but can't bring myself to turn the laptop off. I'm sat in my bed, surrounded with snacks and end up working my way through my list of blogging ideas until I can't keep my eyes open any more.

"Koi No Yokan" It's a Japanese phrase which means the sense or feeling you get when you meet someone that it was meant to be & you're going to fall in love.

You can check out Damzel in this Dress here, and follow on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Bloglovin'. I also gave Rosie 5 random questions, so you can get to know a bit more about the blogger behind Damzel In This Dress:
Winged liner and nude lips. Winged liner is my war paint, I need it on before I feel l ready to take on the world.
Maybelline Master Drama Kohl Liner (preferably with a sharpener too).

I love lifestyle posts that give me an insight to someone's life. I'm really nosey so if the post is going to tell me about you and bring out your personality I'll definitely be reading.
It's a grey fur gilet that I love and don't imagine I'll ever get rid of! It's been my wardrobe fave for a good few years now. Maybe I'll pass it down to my grandchildren one day.
Twitter! I am obsessed. I love the instant interaction and how one minute I can be discussing lipsticks with someone in Canada and the next discussing current affairs with people that are actually being affected!

Also on my sidebar this month were five fabulous other bloggers. Because I'd had so many awesome bloggers put themselves forward to be my Blogger of the Month, I felt like I didn't want to leave out so many amazing blogs. So last month I decided to extend my advertising to pop five other buttons on my sidebar. The more the merrier right?

Leanne from Ooh Simple Thing posts an amazing mix of beauty, fashion and lifestyle. I particularly enjoyed reading about her latest Paperchase haul. Moving onto The Vegan Taff, which is my go to for nail inspiration. Kelly also has beautiful photography. Next we have Oh Nine Ten Studio. This is an art-focussed blog written by Rebekah, but one of my favourite posts is all about her adorable new puppy!

Sam from Made From Beauty has a fab fashion and beauty blog with some lovely photography. I've been lusting over the Pixi Glow Tonic she featured in her Evening Skincare Routine. Finally we have Wendy who blogs at Bumpkin Broke. One post that was particularly thought provoking was all about Androgynous Lingerie. And on that note...
