Candles: Rewined Pinot Noir

Rewined is a US-based candle brand, born in 2009 with a unique vision. Taking empty champagne bottles, Rewined transform them into beautiful candles for your home, with fragrances inspired by wines from around the world. To the anti-wine connoisseur, wine is wine. But every wine has its individual aromas, similar to the scent pyramid of a perfume. Rewined takes these notes and put them right into their carefully blended candle scents. This is a brand that is so passionate about what they do, and the result is a truly lovely concept.

When I was first approached by All Home Everything, the wholesale retailers for Rewined, I took a peek at the scents on offer and instantly wanted all of them, all the descriptions sounded so beautiful. When my package arrived, I could smell the candle before I'd even got it out of the box. The team had literally picked out the most perfect candle for me. I make it no secret that fig is my number one note in both candles and perfume, so the Pinot Noir Signature Wine Bottle Candle* (£28) was the obvious choice for me.

Pinot Noir is one of the unique fig compositions I have ever come across. I've been there, done that with the green leafiness of Diptyque Figuier, and the minty freshness of Lily Flame Mellow Figs & Garden Mint. Pinot Noir, on the other hand, is a complex blend of fig and cranberry, mixed with earthy leather and sweet violet. This makes for a vibrant yet sexy blend, which smells very high end and is perfect for cosy Autumn and Winter evenings. It really makes a refreshing change from all the spicy seasonal candles, and is Rewined's best seller.



Rewined's Signature Wine Bottle Candles are hand-poured with natural soy wax. This ensures the candle burns so flawlessly, with absolutely no tunnelling in sight. One of my favourite things about this candle (besides the scent) is the unique design. The minimalistic label is definitely in keeping with the clean, yet rustic trend that is currently very popular.

I am honestly obsessed with the Pinot Noir scent. It's one of those that's so good that you can't help going back in for sniff after sniff. If you are in the market for a luxury candle, I would highly recommend Rewined for their high quality, indulgent scents, and their intriguing brand aesthetic. There is a scent to suit all, whether you are a wine fan or not, and also available are blends based on Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet, Champagne, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Merlot. There is also a special Rosé blend, with notes of peach, pink peppercorn and of course rose, which is definitely a contender for my next purchase.
