12 Days of Frizz Ease: Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioner | AD

John Frieda Frizz Ease serum was one of the first hair styling products I remember buying back in the day and I'm sure it earned itself many a repurchase for its ability to smooth over any flyaways, nourish the hair and hide any pesky split ends pre-blow dry. It's been a long time since I explored their products, so when I was asked if I wanted to get involved with John Frieda's 12 Days of Frizz Ease, it was a resounding yes! Counting down to Christmas in their very own way, the brand are teaming up with a different influencer everyday for 12 days, each showcasing a various products from the Frizz Ease range.

The product that I selected was the Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioner*. I'm constantly on the search for a great hair mask that is not only actually conditions your hair, has a non-offensive scent but is fairly affordable too. At 6.99 for 150ml, it is almost half the price and works just as well as the Schwarzkopf Professional hair mask which I had been using. John Frieda products are almost always on offer too, plus I can replenish my stash from my local Boots instead of having to order online.

My hair is quite fine, but as I bleached it earlier on in the year I like to keep it well maintained by using a deep conditioner every couple of washes. The Miraculous Recovery mask has a luxuriously thick texture, which means it is going to stay where you put it while you go about the rest of your in-shower activities. It also has a gorgeous rich scent which makes this product seem so much more luxe than its price tag. It is recommended that you leave the mask on for 3-5 minutes, and I generally only slather it over my lengths and ends to avoid the roots being weighed down. Despite its thickness, I find the Frizz Ease mask to work well for my fine hair, and does a really good job of keeping it nourished, soft and sleek. It claims to repair surface damage caused by heat and daily wear and tear,  and is enriched with milk protein and avocado oil to strengthen the hair and avoid breakage. I also love that it is suitable for all hair types, as well as colour safe as I have just coloured my hair.

I'm really chuffed I've found a hair mask that ticks all of my boxes, and it has made me want to try out more of John Frieda's products. They have vastly expanded their range, and the Frizz Ease line alone has around 30 products! I was kindly also sent over the Forever Full Hairspray* from the Luxurious Volume range, after I mentioned I have fine hair and it's really impressed me. Hairspray is one of those products that I never get excited about, but this has a really lightweight mist and strong hold that keeps your hair in place all day without weighing it down or being crispy. If it gets messed up by the wind, you can give it a quick shake with your fingers and then it looks great again. It also really plumps up the roots too!
