Christmas Yankee Candle Haul

18 September 2014

I know it's a little keen seeing as it's only September, and last week I was only just transitioning to my autumn scents. I was just so excited when I saw the Christmas offerings out on the shelves to smell as it's the first Christmas I've been into Yankee Candles. I thought I'd snap some up while I've got the chance. Ofc I won't be burning them till at least December *cough October*. All descriptions taken from yankeecandle.co.uk. I've included a quick description of the scent on cold smell.

(R > L) Candy Cane Lane

"A favourite Christmas place where delicious dream are made with tingly peppermint, sweet cookies and creamy vanilla icing" This really does smell like candy canes!
Snowflake Cookie

"Jump for joy at this new Christmas tradition: perfectly pretty holiday cookies, deliciously decorated with sugary pink icing. The charming confection fills the house with a sweetness you-or your guests-won't be able to get enough of." It was a toss up between this and Christmas Cookie, in the end I went for both and will choose my fave. This seems to have more depth though.

Honey Glow

"The soft, captivating radiance of this sweet perfume creates an invitingly warm, peaceful mood" This kinda smelt like tea to me, and very warm, great for autumn.

Sugared Apple

"A deliciously sweet apple treat... a perfect recipe of juicy apples sprinkled with sugar and vanilla." This smells very cold, with a little sweetness.
Red Apple Wreath

"A happy Christmas homecoming with the festive aroma of sweet apples, cinnamon, walnuts and maple." This smells very Christmassy and was the first one I was drawn to.
Christmas Cookie

"Buttery rich, vanilla scented, holiday sugar cookies." I'd like to see how this compares to Snowflake Cookie

Also on the look out for...

Christmas Memories

"From the heart of the kitchen, unforgettable holiday moment are brought home again with this comforting recipe of spices and sweets." This is THE scent of Christmas!
Christmas Eve

"Traditional Christmas scents of a warm hearth, sugared plums, and candied fruits." This is pretty exciting and very sweet. Can't wait to get this!
Angels Wings

"Spirits rise on this beautiful airy aroma of joyfully sweet spun sugar, heavenly sheer flower petals and divinely smooth vanilla." I thought this smelt pretty so I'd like to give it a go.
On the non-Christmas front...

Ginger Dusk

"The brisk feeling of twilight air comes to life with the energy of sharp, bracing spice and a hint of sweet citrus." This is the last I need to get to complete the Indian Summer collection, and perhaps the most exciting sounding one!
Do you have a candle that reminds you of Christmas?
