September Empties

19 September 2014

So this is not so much "Empties" rather, "Stuff I didn't take home with me to save space in my luggage!" For those of you that don't know, as part of my course I am on placement all around Wales, so it involves staying away for a month at a time. This month I've been in hospital accommodation in Swansea, which is like being back in halls #freshers. Let's start with the stuff I actually did finish...

First was The Body Shop Chocomania Shower Gel. I didn't really like it when I tried it last year, as I thought it left a masculine scent on my skin. This time when I tried it, I really loved it, and will repurchase!

Next up, the Lush BIG Shampoo. I adored this when I first got it, and did a review here. I started to like it a little less as I found my hair didn't stay as nice for as long as the Bee Strong Shampoo. I might repurchase this, although not straight away.

I really wasn't a fan of the Aussie Miracle Moist Conditioner. I LOVE the shampoo, so expected big things from this, but it just wasn't conditioning enough. I found it better when I conditioned twice, but not impressed overall, especially for the price.

I decided to leave the Dove Summer Glow although I do like it, I just never reach for it. I did have a month of using it everyday in the summer, but I'm so lazy with lotions. I'll repurchase it if I really want to use it again!

The next two are products I'll forever repurchase. The first is the Vaseline Active Fresh Deoderant, which has been my favourite for the last year. I don't think it smells very active, rather it has a little rose and lavender in there.

Lastly is the Batiste Dry Shampoo. The only dry shampoo I've tried and I love it! For best results, apply to roots before bed to give it time to absorb. Hello no white dusty parting. Here I've got the Oriental scent. It's very similar to the Blush one, but I think the Tropical is my fave.

Are any of these favourites of yours?
