Happiness Boutique Statement Necklace

Happiness Boutique is an online jewellery store based in Berlin (never fear, they have free worldwide delivery). Their aesthetic is timeless classic, with a vintage touch, and they stock a variety of on-trend pieces. Their marble adorned jewellery will please bloggers everywhere, and they also have some beautiful dainty necklaces, but it is their statement necklaces that are the real stars of the show. 

As the name suggests, the whole brand is based on happiness and being happy. They wanted to create a brand based on positivity, and with the customer in mind. Often, putting on your favourite outfit, lipstick or in this case jewellery, boosts your mood, and so Happiness Boutique thinks of their pieces as "happy tokens that you can touch and feel, and remind yourself of beautiful things". Of course, it's all very materialistic, but who am I to judge? The main thing is that they wanted to spread happiness every day, and that's something I can't argue with.

I chose the Glamorous Over The Top Statement Necklace* (£21.58), which is their best-seller. It sells out really quickly, but Happiness Boutique are always really good at getting it back in stock, so you haven't missed out for good! I have to say it was definitely worth the wait. I just can't stop Instagramming it (follow me here, cheeky plug!). 

This necklace is so different from anything else in my collection, which is what attracted me to it. I have quite a lot of statement necklaces already, but nothing says statement like this. I love how it instantly adds oomph to an outfit. I wore it every single day for the first few days after I got it, I just didn't want to take off! Every time I wore it, I got so many compliments. I think it's really unique and not something you'd see on everyone, although these styles have become really popular on Instagram recently. 

Happiness Boutique also have a fab customer reward programme, similar to those from Boots etc. where you earn points on the amount you spend (1 point for every euro). You also get points for sharing your photos in their Happy Gallery, which is really innovative. The Happy Gallery works as a mini Instagram-like platform, where people can heart your photo. Sharing your snaps on social media also earns you points, and at 200 points you can get a surprise jewellery piece, or save your points for your choice of statement necklace. There is also a monthly giveaway to win a 50 euro gift card. This is such an innovative idea, and it's rare that stores have schemes like this outside of the high street stores. It's a great way to use social media to your advantage!

Overall I'm really chuffed with my Happiness Boutique necklace. I think my only problem will be over-wearing it! I would definitely order from them again as I think the pieces are really on-trend, and brilliant quality for the price. Plus, girl's a sucker for free delivery, that's a store after my own heart...
