Zoella Beauty Sweet Inspirations Body Mist

Zoella Beauty's latest range of bath and body products to hit Feel Unique and Superdrug is Sweet Inspirations, This time, we are treated to a macaron-inspired range to replace 2015's Tutti Fruity scent which I loved (thankfully the body mist Let's Spritz (read my review here) is staying! The body mist comes alongside several other gorgeously designed items, including a bath and shower milk, body lotion and a couple of makeup bags. I had my hefty Lush stash and bank balance at the front of my mind, so only picked up the body mist this time.

I loved Let's Spritz because it was really unique whereas Blissful Mistful was a more musky version of Marc Jacob's Daisy, and wasn't my cup of tea as it lacked the freshness of Daisy. I was really intrigued to see where Sweet Inspirations would stand. The patisserie-inspired packaging of the body mist is stunning. The square glass bottle is retained from the previous collections (so the scents look really cute displayed together), with a gold lid and a twenties/art-deco pattern. The bottles hold 45ml of product, which is amazing for £8!

Sweet Inspirations (£8) lists honey and cocoa extracts and sweet almond oil in the ingredients, so it is very much a gourmand scent. It is very sweet, with an almondy vanilla kick and a musky base. It isn't pure cake, and it has lots of dimension. It smells more sophisticated than the previous two scents, and is more akin to a eau de parfum fragrance than your average body mist.

In terms of comparing it to an existing fragrance, I find it very similar to Laura Mercier Eau Gormande Almond Coconut Milk, which I love but definitely consider to be a wintry fragrance. This one is less overpowering and sickly, so is more suited to year-round wear. I'm not 100% sure why, but I get kind of a Molecule 01 vibe from it initially.

The Sweet Inspirations scent is lovely, and I'm sure it would lend itself very well to being a bath product. The packaging of the rest of the line is absolutely stunning, with its pastel colour palette, so I'm really keen to pick up a few of the other products, particularly the Bath Latte and the bath salts. The only thing than is disappointing about the body mist is that this time it doesn't have a cute name like Let's Spritz and Blissful Mistful, rather being named after the collection itself. That being said, I'm a big fan of the Zoella Beauty body mists as they make the perfect everyday scents without breaking the bank.
