For this make up look I've taken inspiration from autumnal shades including burgundy and copper. MAC Cranberry has been huge news over the blogosphere as the seasons have been changing, and having realised I already own a similar shade, I decided to have a go at a look. It's not a shade I've ever really used before, but I'd like to try to work it into my repertoire.
I've used my favourite base combo as of late, which is The Body Shop Instablur Primer and the Bourjois 123 CC Cream. I used a berry blush shade from the Makeup Revolution Contour & Blush Palette in Sugar & Spice, along with the Loreal Lumi Magique Concealer to highlight the cheekbones and conceal my dark circles. A strong brow would suit this look, so I used the Eylure Brow Crayon in Dark Brown to fill out my brows and the Maybelline Brow Drama in Medium Brown to set the pencil and add a little more depth.
For the eyes, I used the Urban Decay Primer Potion as a base for the lids. I first of all used the Loreal L'Ombre Pure Matte eyeshadow in Breaking Nude over the lid and applied a reddish shade over the centre of the lid. I used a shade from an old Fearne Cotton Now You See Me, Now You Don't Palette but you can use MAC Cranberry or any of its dupes.
I then took the deep brown shade from the same palette, and blended it into the crease with a fluffy brush, with a tiny bit of black to intensify. I also applied a little under the eye. I thought the look was a little too red, so I took the gold shade and did a light wash over the red. This created a pretty burnt leaves effect. I blended the whole look and added a little more gold and red to lift the look, and went back to the matte brown to really smoke out the crease and under the lower lashes.
I took the Black Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Khol Liner and used it on both the water and tightlines. I also used the L'Oreal Gel Liner on the upper lash line to create a dramatic effect. I topped the look off with a few coats if the Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara on curled lashes. Finally, for lips I used the MAC Rebel Lipstick, a fall-appropriate deep raspberry pink. I felt like this really toed the look together.

As the Fearne Cotton palette is no longer available, I'll try my best to suggest a few other shades you can use for this look. Instead of the red I used, other options include the infamous MAC Cranberry or the L'Oreal Color Riche L'Ombre Pure Lumiere shadow in Escape in Bordeaux. For a rich deep brown, I'd look towards Urban Decay Darkhorse or for a cheaper option, L'Oreal Color Riche L'Ombre Pure shadow in Die For Chocolate. For the gold shade, I'd hands down pick MAC Woodwinked. Continuing with the L'Oreal shadow theme, I'd go for the Color Riche L'Ombre Pure shadow in Gold Mania.
Would you wear this look?
I think I'd wear it on a chilly day with a black polo neck sweater.
