November Beauty Favourites

30 November 2014

This month I've not been too adventurous with my beauty favourites, and haven't really worn much make up at all! To top it off, I've only had a small makeup bag of products, instead of my whole stash, so this list might be pretty similar to previous favourites. With the prevalence of L'Oréal products, this November favourites may as well be called The L'Oréal Show.

L'Oréal Super Liner Perfect Slim (£6.99)

One of the best liquid eyeliners I have tried, this is probably the easiest to apply. It doesn't dry out either, and the felt pen nip remains stiff so you get a precise line, unlike others I've tried (Maybelline I'm talking to you).

L'Oréal Lumi Magique Concealer (£8.99)

This YSL dupe has revolutionised my concealer application. Gone are the heavy coverage contenders, and have been replaced with this lightweight, highlighting beauty. It's so easy to blend, and I even use it to highlight the outline of my brows for a defined look.

Topshop Cheek Duo in Desert Sun (£12.50)

This is a bit of a cheeky one as it is sadly no longer available. This baby sat in my disappointing products tub for so long once I'd used up the bronzing half. Now I adore the natural satin finish of this posie pink blush. This is such lovely quality from the ever-winning Topshop Beauty range.

L'Oréal True Match Foundation in C2 Vanilla Rose (£9.99)

This was a hate turned into love for this foundation, bit it's adoration all round for this base. It just applies so well with either the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush or a sponge. The satin finish is so dreamy and it really is a true colour match. It's amazing to be able to get these cool toned shades in the drugstore.

NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny (£2.99)

This is such a budget buy and one I've searched for for a long time, ever since it was hailed as a Benefit Hoola dupe. It is a really lovely matte bronzer with great pigmentation and a gorgeous smooth finish. It is great for warming up sallow winter skin or contouring, if a little on the warm side. It's lovely to be able to get a great matte bronzer for a drugstore price, even if it was tricky to get my hands on.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Leather Effect in Creamy Beige (£4.99)

The Color Tattoo shades can be a bit hit and miss, but Creamy Beige is definitely up there with On and On Bronze. This makes the perfect base for mid-deep neutral shadows as it has insane lasting power. All Maybelline need to do now is bring out a lighter matte shade, a UK available dupe of the MAC Painterly Paint Pot.

L'Oréal False Lash Telescopic Mascara (£10.99)

This has been the only mascara I have used this month. I haven't been this wowed by a mazzy since first trying Benefit They're Real a year and a half ago. It gives an incredible curl and really defines the lashes.

Neal's Yard Remedies Lip Gloss in Gogi Berry (£9)

This is such a gorgeous lip gloss that I got free with a magazine earlier on in the year. It is a lovely shade, a deep orangey-red my lips but better colour in a super-moisturising formula. It's so moisturising that it feels like a balm. It's not sticky at all and does kinda have the lasting power of a balm, but I don't mind reapplying as it tastes great, kinda like watermelon.

L'Oreal Color Infalliable Matte Finish Shadow in Coconut Shake

I actually got this in Poundland for a bargain of (yep, you guessed it) £1. It is a lovely matte neutral shade that is great for blending out an eye look, or as a matte brow highlight. However my favourite use for this is similar to the Kardashian favourite, the Ben Nye Banana Powder. I use this under my eyes and to blend out my contour for a flawless finish.

L>R Neal's Yard gloss, Maybelline Creamy Beige, NYC Sunny, Topshop Desert Sun
