No, you're not hallucinating, this is the second Collection product I've featured in the This Week I'm Obsessed With... series in the last month. I think Collection is a brand that has been much overlooked, but has been going from strength to strength, particularly this year. Collection has put themselves firmly on the map, with many products being blogger faves. The struggle to find a good drugstore concealer is such a tricky one and believe me, I've tried them all. We've all heard of the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, and whilst that's fab for covering even the most angry of blemishes, it can be a bit too heavy for the under eye area. Enter the Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer.
This twist-up, brush-on ensemble offers a good balance between brightening qualities and coverage, making it the perfect choice for all over use. No it's not going to cover circles that are the result of a hefty weekend partying, but it adds a lovely natural lift to the under-eye area. If you're short on time, Illuminating Touch will also work for covering mild blemishes. It all looks very natural, so works brilliantly if you're having a minimal makeup day.
I use the lightest shade, 01 Naked, and I'm pleased to report it is light enough for super pale skins. I had a bit of a 'mare with the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer; their lightest shade ran orangina on me, and went straight in the disappointing products pile. Illuminating touch has a lovely peachy tone, making it perfect for counteracting blue and purple under-eye shadows and making everything look brighter than bright.
