Interview with Dainty Bride

Throughout the month of September, newly-wed (congratulations lovely!) blogger babe Charlie who writes at Dainty Bride has graced my sidebar. I quickly fell in love with Dainty Bride's polka-dot design and I've loved catching up with all the wedding planning posts! As well as documenting the road to her big day, Charlie also posts about a great mix of topics, from travel (see her Torrevieja post) to Outfit of the Day's. I asked Charlie 5 questions so we can get to know her blog that little bit better:

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR BLOG INSPIRATION FROM?

Anything & everything. If I find a product I love, I blog about it. If I really like an outfit, I blog about it. I feel like that's the best way to blog because I never find it a chore.

WHEN & WHY DID YOU START YOUR BLOG?

I started my blog about 18 months ago just after I got engaged. I really wanted to document my journey down the aisle to share with people but also to remember moments myself. Once I started, I got the blogging bug & now blog about whatever I fancy.

MOST POPULAR POST TO DATE?

My most popular post is a Soap & Glory Eye Brow Kit review followed by some of my first posts & a giveaway.

WHERE DOES THE BLOGGING MAGIC HAPPEN?

It tends to be either on my bed or on the sofa whilst Friends is on in the background.

WHAT'S YOUR SIGNATURE MAKEUP LOOK?

Very natural & fresh with little face makeup but always eyebrows on point!

DESERT ISLAND ITEM?

My kindle (with infinite battery). I love to read when I'm on holiday & let's face it, I'd need to pass the time somehow.

FAVOURITE POST TO READ?

I love reading outfits of the day & also beauty favourites for inspiration on what to buy.

FAVOURITE ITEM IN YOUR WARDROBE?

This is really hard. Probably my Mulberry clutch bag that my fiancé bought me for my birthday. It's so small but also really useful & goes with pretty much every outfit.

FAVOURITE APP?

It's a hard choice between Twitter & Instagram but I think Twitter just wins because I am able to connect with other bloggers & readers a lot easier than on Instagram.
