Kringle Candle Royal Cherries Love Aroma

Kringle Candle is one of those home fragrance brands that I had heard about and always assumed we couldn't get it in the UK. I had no idea that the brand was actually available in Love Aroma. I have tried quite a number of candle brands through writing this blog, and it was about time I checked Kringle Candle off my list. I received the Royal Cherries Medium Jar* (£19.99) to test out (link is to the large jar) from the extremely generous guys at Love Aroma. Check out the first two posts I did for them here and here.

Kringle Candle began in 2008 by Michael James Kittredge, son of Yankee Candle creator, when he decided to make his first candle for fun on the family's stove. The following year, he used candles as the basis of his college project where he had to create and promote a product. This was an idea close to his heritage and so he began talking to his father about how to establish his candles as a brand. They found a store location in Bernadston, Massachusetts and The Kringle Candle Company was born in December 2009.

Kringle Candle Royal Cherries Love Aroma

Royal Cherries is described as being a sweet, ripe, fruity fragrance that reflects a warm home atmosphere. This candle smells exactly like a tub of sweet, sticky GlacĂ© Cherries, which I'm pretty sure are the UK equivalent of Royal Cherries. It is by no means a natural fresh cherry. It is artificial, sweet and delicious and that's all part of its charm. For me, it is a very nostalgic scent, and reminds me of baking as a child, being allowed to put the cherries on top of the fairy cakes.
One of the things I love is that you'd expect a cherry scent to have red or pink wax, but this is white which looks very elegant. The candles are made from food grade white paraffin wax and are 100% dye free. The wax has been selected to complement the lit wick, emitting the most luminous white light. The jars are heavy duty and feel very good quality, and are available in 3 sizes. The medium jar burns for 75 hours and has 2 wicks. I love 2 wick candles because they burn so well and pool really quickly when you don't have 3 hours +  to wait for the candle to pool. I have a 2 wick Yankee in my favourite Sun & Sand scent, but the 2 wick tumblers aren't usually available in the UK, so it's great to find a brand that sells them here.
I'm really impressed with my first Kringle Candle. The scent of Royal Cherries is gorgeous, and I love the design of the jar, from the heavyweight glass to the bold labels. In the full Kringle range, there are 75+ unique and current scents, and Love Aroma has an amazing edit including beachy Coconut Wood, the obviously 50 Shades-inspired Grey, and Watercolours which has the most dreamy pastel blue and lilac label.
Love Aroma have kindly given me a discount code to share, which is BEHINDTHESCENT for 10% off online purchases until 31/5/16.

Have you tried anything from Kringle Candle?
