We all know I love Yankee Candle, but I've gotten a bit lazy when it comes to burning. I thought it was about time I worked my way through my wax tart stash and gave a bit of ambiance to my late-night Pretty Little Liars marathons. Here are my most recent burns, and you can see by my choices that I've already got my mind set to autumn! FYI most of the scents I've featured here have been retired, but I've found a great website called TheStore91 that sells a lot of these discontinued/US exclusive fragrances. Looks like I'll be stocking up...
First on the agenda was a Mountain Lodge wax tart (£2.10). Not necessarily one of my favourites, but it's definitely growing on me. Mountain Lodge is a bit of a cult offering in the Yankee world. This smells like a wood cabin, complete with a bit of incense. It is intense, yet comforting and definitely one for the cooler months. Running with that same masculine vibe is November Rain (£1.99). This votive was one of my favourite scents from last year. November Rain is a lovely cologne scent with elements of the fresh outdoors. I enjoy this scent all year round and it is my favourite 'manly' candle.
Moving on to the floral scents and Pink Hibiscus (Small Jar £8.99) is one that's definitely in my top 10 Yankee scents (see my Top 10 of 2014). This is a strong heady floral that I'm still just as obsessed with as I was when I first tried it last summer. It has a fun bright rosy scent that is perfect to remind us that summer is still with us (for now). Next we have Loves Me, Loves Me Not (Votive £1.95). This is such a springtime scent, and I've kept it going as an ode to the start of summer, rather than the end where we are at now. This is such a pretty white floral scent, which disappointingly has been discontinued, but I'd like to track down the scent in a larger form.
Finally, Amber Moon (Votive £1.80) is another one that I loved in the early fall of last year. This was released as part of the Indian Summer collection and makes a really soft, pretty bedroom scent. Amber Moon is powdery and warm, and really sets the mood for an indulgent, cosy night in. I'm definitely going to be picking up a larger jar.
It's been a bit of a mixed bag of scents here, from those reminding me of summer, to those taking us through to Autumn. I'd love to know what you think of this feature, as I'm planning to make it a regular thing. This is also the very first post with my new layout which is from Pipdig, so let me know what you think of my new design.

I think Yankee's strawberry scents really smell like rhubarb. I quite like summer scoop though. Vanilla Cupcake is lovely!
